Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Radiology Team Lead to join our team in the Nuclear Medicine department. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care, training and educating junior staff, and promoting the continued development of our services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of radiographers and nurses to achieve excellent patient outcomes and deliver high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of junior staff.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to promote the integration of nuclear medicine services and improve patient experience.
  • Contribute to the development of new policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in nursing or a related field and a valid registration as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • At least 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine or a related field, preferably in a leadership or management capacity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £48,694 - £62,089 per annum, inclusive of High Cost Area Supplement. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
