About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Radiology Department, specifically in the Nuclear Medicine suite at Kings College Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To work closely with the Clinical Nurse Specialist for Nuclear Medicine and Radiology Matron to promote continued development of the service and deliver a high standard of care and positive patient experience.
  • To act as a mentor to junior staff members, responsible for the orientation, supervision and ongoing development of junior and student nurses.
  • To contribute to the wider educational activities within the Care Group ensuring attendance at and contributing to the delivery of educational activities within the Care Group.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate commitment to their own personal development and show keen interest in the future development of the profession within this specialist area of medicine.

Requirements:
  • A registered nurse with some experience in nuclear medicine or interventional Radiology at Band 5 or higher.
  • A post-registration course relevant to this field and a mentorship/practice assessor qualification is essential.
  • Excellent clinical expertise, communication skills and ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

We offer a competitive salary of £46,194 - £53,656 per annum, including High Cost Area Supplement, and a range of benefits, including access to ongoing education and training opportunities.
