Mental Health Care Coordinator

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient support worker to join our team in Wisbech. As a key member of our staff, you will provide care and support to young people with mental health challenges.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have empathy, positive parenting skills, and the ability to work with firm and consistent boundaries. You will be responsible for creating safety and containment for the child, working within CAMHS policy and statute, and as part of the children’s Treatment Plan.
Responsibilities- Complete and update care plans and documentation.
- Work with firm and consistent boundaries to create safety and containment for the child.
- Help develop a true sense of identity and self-worth in collaboration with the child.
- Talk and listen to the child, observe their behaviour, and record significant features.
- Work within Child Protection/Safeguarding policy and practice.
- Be aware of the child’s rights and work in an anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive manner.
- Be approachable towards the team and children.
- An Enhanced DBS check will be undertaken in line with government regulations and safer recruitment best practices.
- A reference check will also be carried out.
- Pay: £11.17 per hour
