We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Hospital Administrative Support Specialist. This is a 9-12 month fixed-term contract position that offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a fast-paced hospital environment.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for ensuring wards are compliant with clinical dashboards and providing advice on care plan reviews. You will also maintain accurate patient records and update databases as necessary.

Our hospital is situated in a rural setting, providing a peaceful and calming environment for patients. We offer acute inpatient admissions and a specialist service for men with a learning disability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure wards are compliant with clinical dashboards and provide advice on care plan reviews.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update databases as necessary.
  • Collect and analyse data to meet corporate requirements.
  • Attend ward rounds, take minutes, and issue reports.
  • Implement effective filing systems and manage medical records.
  • Provide cover in the reception area, including handling switchboard duties and maintaining confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • Experience in administration within a hospital environment.
  • Knowledge of mental health and patient confidentiality issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently.

Salary:

£25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
