We are seeking an outstanding Sales Director to drive our sales agenda forward. Reporting to the European Sales Director, you will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and broader management team. This is an exciting opportunity for a successful, ambitious individual to take our innovative consumer goods brand to the next level, establishing a marketing-leading position.
Responsibilities:- Drive a creative and entrepreneurial agenda within the team, prioritizing new opportunities while maintaining established relationships.
- Implement processes in all sales areas to create a well-run and efficient business.
- Optimize existing commercial relationships and actively pursue new business opportunities.
- Grow the distribution and number of accounts.
- Manage the sales team and drive them to hit and surpass monthly sales goals/budgets.
The ideal candidate will have experience in P&L management (cost control, gross and operating margins) and a clear history of successful business development and team management. Experience working within a premium branded business and adept at building and managing forecasts and budgets are essential. Familiarity with Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and experience dealing with major National and Regional accounts and channel management (Grocery, Mass, Specialists and Pure Play) would be advantageous. An excellent understanding of the Homewares market and key accounts would also be beneficial.
