Car Park Attendant Position

We have an exciting vacancy for a Door Attendant to join our team at Jumeirah Carlton Tower, where you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Loading cars for departing guests with a polite manner and courteous farewell, confirming the number of pieces with the guest.
  • Unloading luggage from cars for arriving guests, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Directing and escorting guests to reception, announcing their name.
  • Maintaining the hotel's driveway, main entrance, and car-park cleanliness, reporting any defects to the concierge or Hot Sos.
  • Liaising with valet parking attendants on guest vehicles, conducting thorough checks prior to acceptance/handover.
  • Assisting with moving guest vehicles to the car-park entrance if required.
  • Providing red carpet service for VIPs and weddings.
  • Calling taxis for guests upon request.
  • Offering information on hotel services, facilities, and general knowledge to guests.
  • Reporting incidents, complaints, suspicious persons, or safety hazards immediately.
About You:

A friendly and approachable demeanor, combined with excellent communication skills, are essential requirements for this Car Park Attendant position.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • UK driving license and experience with luxury vehicles are essential.
  • Familiarity with luggage handling procedures, including proper lifting techniques and care for guests' belongings.
  • Ability to work independently, handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and upholding the hotel's brand reputation.
