A unique opportunity has arisen for an English Education Specialist to join Teaching Personnel's team at a non-profit independent special school in Westbury.
About the SchoolThis school operates eight DfE-registered and Ofsted-inspected schools, providing tailored education for young people aged 11-16.
- The school offers a diverse curriculum with academic, vocational, and outdoor learning to re-engage students in education.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing a tailored English curriculum that meets the diverse needs of students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Delivering engaging and differentiated English lessons using various strategies and resources to support individual learning styles and needs.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS/PGCE) or other recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience of teaching to secondary class/group.
- An ability to prepare and deliver appropriate curriculum using a range of teaching styles and methodologies.
We offer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we offer:
