Senior Account Manager, Clinical Trial Supply Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our Clinical Trial Supplies team at Bionical Emas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and developing new and existing key strategic customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Account Management: Lead key client accounts, oversee a team of Account Executives and Account Managers, and ensure effective collaboration and performance.
- Global Sourcing and Procurement: Develop and maintain global sourcing and procurement networks, identifying new opportunities to enhance the business's supply chain and product offerings.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact in client meetings, confidently leading discussions and addressing client needs without requiring senior team support.
- Mentorship and Team Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to Account Executives and Managers, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
- Representation at International Conferences: Represent the company at key international conferences, supporting the leadership team in networking and business development initiatives.
- Budgeting and Sales Targets: Assist Account Directors in creating and managing budgets for key accounts, ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded, and new growth opportunities are identified.
- Customer and Supplier Relationship Management: Build strong, lasting relationships with customers and suppliers, proactively addressing and resolving any issues to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all team activities adhere to company SOPs, regulatory requirements, and quality standards, maintaining compliance in procurement and supply chain processes.
- Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence: Collaborate with the Group Business Unit Director to promote a culture of continuous improvement, driving operational excellence across the business.
- Performance Management and Talent Development: Manage and develop direct reports, focusing on performance management, talent acquisition, and retention to strengthen the team and achieve business goals.
- Education: Degree level education or equivalent would be desirable.
- Experience: Previous experience within comparator drug sourcing, or equivalent, would be highly advantageous.
- Skills: Customer-focused, enthusiastic, and proactive approach; ability to deal confidently with colleagues, regulatory bodies, customers, suppliers, and other relevant third parties; ability to work under pressure and within time constraints; compliance-focused, with ability to understand and develop processes and systems.
