Job Title: Assessment Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Assessment Coordinator. As a key member of our Telephone Friendship Service, you will play a vital role in supporting older people through the initial stages of our service.

About the Role

As an Assessment Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our service runs safely and efficiently. You will work closely with our team to assess the needs of older people and match them with trained volunteers for regular weekly telephone chats.

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of our service. You will also have a passion for supporting older people and a good understanding of their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs of older people and match them with suitable volunteers
  • Ensure that our service runs safely and efficiently
  • Work closely with our team to provide excellent customer service
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to work flexibly
