Assessment Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Assessment Coordinator to join our dedicated team at Age UK. As an Assessment Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting older people through the initial stages of our Telephone Friendship Service.
Key Responsibilities- Support older people through the initial stages of the service, ensuring processes run safely and efficiently.
- Work closely with volunteers and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with older people, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service strategies to improve outcomes for older people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with older people and volunteers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Passion for supporting older people and understanding their needs.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
