We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join our team at Partrac. As an HSE Advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental standards across our entire operation.
Key Responsibilities- Drive a Culture of Safety Excellence: Promote a proactive approach to HSE throughout the organisation, continually improving our integrated HSE management system in line with international standards and best practices.
- Support the Head of HSSEQ: Monitor and assess HSE performance, producing statistical reports to identify areas of improvement and suggested corrective actions.
- Coordinate Health and Safety Committee Meetings: Provide advice as necessary, prepare and circulate agendas and minutes.
- Advise on Risk Assessments and Safe Methods of Operation: Support staff to conduct risk assessments, review where required, and participate in the planning, drafting, and implementation of HAZOP, HAZID, and HIRA meetings.
- Investigate Incidents and Implement Preventive Measures: Use our H&S software, My Compliance Management, to identify root causes and minimize the recurrence of incidents.
- Monitor and Research New Health and Safety Legislation and Best Practice: Give guidance through engagement sessions with directors, managers, and employees to further enable constructive discussion and HSE improvements.
- Liaise with Clients on HSE Matters: Provide expert advice and support to clients on HSE-related issues.
- Support the Head of HSSEQ with Regulatory Authority Intervention: Provide guidance and support during regulatory authority interventions.
- Conduct Regular Audits and Inspections: Ensure compliance with HSE policies and standards, producing records of findings for suggested improvements.
- Coordinate First Aid Provision: Ensure sufficient qualified persons and supplies are available at all premises.
- Support HR on Mental Health and Wellbeing: Provide guidance and support to HR on mental health and wellbeing initiatives.
- Improve HSE Procedures: Monitor compliance of sub-contractors and identify interventions where required.
- Support Onshore and Pre-Mobilisation Vessel-Based Safety Meetings: Provide expert advice and support to ensure the safety of personnel during onshore and pre-mobilisation vessel-based safety meetings.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced HSE Advisor with a strong background in the marine, offshore, environmental, or construction industries. You will have:
- Experience with Incident Investigation and Reporting
- Experience with Technically Challenging Projects
- Good Knowledge of HSE Legislation, Regulations, Standards, and Industry HSSEQ Requirements and Best Practice
- Knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations and the Implementation on Offshore Projects
- Strong Understanding and Implementation of Risk Assessments
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities
- Systematic and Methodical Approach with Fine Attention to Detail
- Ability to Prioritise Fluctuations in Workload
