Job Title: Health and Safety Manager

Join Morrisons, a leading supermarket chain, as a Health and Safety Manager in our Property division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading health and safety across all aspects of our property function, including construction, asset management, and landlord responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive health and safety improvements and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Develop and maintain health and safety training programs to ensure employees are equipped to work safely.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in health and safety management, preferably in a construction or property-related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations, including CDM and Fire Safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and improving health and safety performance.
