Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Humanities Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in delivering a creative and comprehensive Humanities curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students.
Responsibilities
- Classroom Environment
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior, respect, and a growth mindset.
- Establish a culture of mutual respect, trust, and open communication among students, teachers, and staff.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to engage students with SEMH needs and help them overcome barriers to learning.
- Provide individualized support to students who require additional help or guidance.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system.
Requirements
- Qualifications
- Teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Excellent classroom practice and presence.
- Enthusiasm and drive for working in a SEMH school.
