">About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Social Work Practitioner to join our team in Woking, South-East England. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with children and families to provide relationship-based social work services, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload, conducting assessments and developing SMART plans to support children's welfare.
  • Engage in child protection investigations and collaborate with families to develop plans that ensure children's safety.
  • Foster strong relationships with agencies, including legal services, healthcare, education, and other partners.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A professional Social Work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent) and HCPC registration.
  • Substantial experience in assessing and working directly with children and families in a statutory setting.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK childcare laws, statutory guidance, and the Working Together 2018 framework.
  • Excellent communication, report-writing, and assessment skills; ability to manage challenging situations and build positive relationships.
