Job Description

We are partnering with a reputable national provider of health and social care services to find an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with young people and adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities in a low and medium secure mental health hospital for men.

About the Hospital

The hospital provides specialist care and treatment for individuals detained under the Mental Health Act, supporting them to achieve their goals and plan for their future. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will manage complex caseloads, conduct thorough assessments, facilitate group activities, and contribute to ICR meetings to support service users in achieving their desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Managing a complex caseload of service users
* Conducting social care and risk assessments
* Facilitating group activities to promote social skills and independence
* Contributing to ICR meetings to support service users in planning for their future

Requirements

* Registration with Social Work England
* Degree in Social Work or related field
