We are seeking an exceptional Humanities Teacher to join our team at CV-Library's SEN school in Guildford, Surrey. As a passionate educator, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and adaptive Humanities lessons that cater to the range of learning abilities within the classroom.

About the Role:

You will work closely with the SEN team to manage challenging behaviors and reinforce positive behavior through strategies that foster trust and growth. This is a full-time, permanent position on the main Teachers' pay scale plus SEN points, offering a competitive salary estimated at £35,000 - £55,000 per annum.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop personalized education plans and adapt the curriculum to suit individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the SEN team to manage challenging behaviors and reinforce positive behavior through strategies that foster trust and growth.
  • Deliver engaging Humanities lessons that cater to the range of learning abilities within the classroom.
Requirements:
  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification with experience teaching Humanities at KS3 and/or KS4.
  • Proven experience working in SEN settings, particularly with students who have SEMH or behavioral needs.
