About the Role:

A key member of our team will be responsible for delivering creative and adaptive Humanities lessons that cater to the range of learning abilities within the classroom. You will work closely with the SEN team to manage challenging behaviors and reinforce positive behavior through strategies that foster trust and growth.

This is a full-time, permanent position on the main Teachers' pay scale plus SEN points, offering a competitive salary estimated at £35,000 - £55,000 per annum. As a valued member of our team, you will have access to a dedicated support network including pastoral and therapeutic teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop personalized education plans and adapt the curriculum to suit individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the SEN team to manage challenging behaviors and reinforce positive behavior through strategies that foster trust and growth.
  • Deliver engaging Humanities lessons that cater to the range of learning abilities within the classroom.
Requirements:
  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification with experience teaching Humanities at KS3 and/or KS4.
  • Proven experience working in SEN settings, particularly with students who have SEMH or behavioral needs.
