Teacher of Humanities and Social Studies

We are looking for a highly skilled Humanities Teacher to join our team at CV-Library's partner school in Guildford. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging Humanities lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
The successful candidate will possess QTS or an equivalent qualification, with a proven track record of teaching Humanities at KS3 and/or KS4. Experience working in SEN settings, particularly with students who have SEMH or behavioural needs, is also essential.
You will work closely with the SEN team to develop tailored education plans and implement effective strategies to manage challenging behaviours. Your ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues will be vital in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
In exchange for your expertise, you can expect a competitive salary of approximately £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus SEN points. Our school provides a comprehensive support system, including pastoral and therapeutic teams, to ensure you have everything you need to succeed in this rewarding role.
