Job Title: Street Works Recovery Specialist

Location: Hybrid working, 2 days per week in the office at Palestra House, Southwark

We are seeking a highly skilled Street Works Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a vital role in recovering charges under the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA) and the Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA). Your responsibilities will include compiling evidence, preparing invoices, and supporting dispute resolution, working closely with Network Management teams and maintaining essential databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update streetworks databases to ensure accurate recovery of charges.
  • Prepare and issue invoices and summary accounts for NRSWA and TMA charges.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and works promoters to resolve disputes and recover outstanding fees.
  • Provide detailed reports to the Streetworks Charges Manager regarding charges.
  • Stay updated on legislation and codes of practice in road and streetworks.

What We're Looking For:

We require an individual with an in-depth understanding of NRSWA/TMA legislation, streetworks charges, and industry standards. You should also have familiarity with EToN and Street Manager systems. A proven track record managing databases and liaising with utility companies on streetworks charges is essential. Experience with EToN and Street Manager software is also required.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
