This Graduate Speech and Language Therapy Assistant role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Speech and Language Therapy within an educational setting.
About the Job- Role Title: Graduate Speech and Language Therapy Assistant
- Location: SEN school in Southwark, London
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
- Estimated Salary: £27,000 - £28,000 per annum (approximately £540 per week)
In this role, you will work with students who have complex communication needs and a range of other SEN, including cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, and sensory needs.
Key Responsibilities- Providing individual and group interventions to support the development of students with speech, language, and communication difficulties
- Supporting students with cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, and sensory needs
- Collaborating with the school's Speech and Language Therapists, educational psychologists, and other specialists to ensure the best outcomes for each student
- Gaining hands-on experience in the strategies and interventions used to support children with SEN
You will play a key role in helping students overcome challenges and achieve both academic and personal progress in a supportive, inclusive environment.
