**Job Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Specialist to work one-to-one with students with special needs, as well as part of a team. This role offers a long-term opportunity with job security and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our learners.

**About the Role**

This is a full-time position working Monday to Thursday, with the option to work Fridays. The successful candidate will support students in class, ranging from 6-8 students per class, and develop their academic and social skills through creative approaches such as art or music.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a calm and consistent approach, and a supporting and encouraging manner with learners. They will be able to inspire trust and motivate the child in their care to integrate and learn through play.

**Responsibilities**

  • Support students with special needs on a one-to-one basis
  • Work as part of a team to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist in lessons such as music, art, and P.E.
  • Support students at local farms, work placements, and other non-educational organizations

**Location**

**Salary**

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
