Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join our newly established team as a Leisure Procurement Strategist. You will play a vital role in delivering our vision of accessible sport and active recreation for everyone, enhancing quality of life and well-being across the borough.
Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our dynamic team, you will:
- Lead the procurement of revenue and capital contracts for leisure services, ensuring exceptional standards and innovation in our facilities.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, collaborating with senior management to support strategic procurement activities.
- Deliver briefings and workshops to upskill leisure staff on procurement best practices.
Requirements
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Comprehensive knowledge of legislation and best practices in procurement.
- Experience managing diverse projects, applying PPM methodologies to achieve success.
- Proven ability to procure, monitor, and negotiate contracts effectively.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders.

Salary Range
The salary for this position is £48,618 - £55,710 per annum, depending on experience.
