Main Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership: Demonstrate strong clinical leadership skills, prioritising and delegating nursing duties within the shift to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and mental health needs, developing and implementing personalized care plans.
- Medication Management: Follow company policies on medicines management, ensuring patients receive the appropriate medications at the right time.
- Safeguarding and Compliance: Be aware of and follow safeguarding policies and procedures, attending required training, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Requirements:
- Qualifications and Experience: A registered Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse with 6-12 months of post-registration experience, active NMC registration, and completion of preceptorship or an equivalent program.
- Ongoing Professional Development: Demonstrated evidence of continuing professional development since registration, showcasing a commitment to staying up-to-date in practice.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Possess strong problem-solving skills, able to think critically and respond effectively to emerging situations.
