Priory Hospital Southampton is a leading provider of mental health care, with a rating of GOOD overall and outstanding in CARING. Our hospital is situated within 1.5 acres of beautiful grounds, approximately four miles from the M27 and two miles from Totton train station. We offer free onsite parking and opportunities for nurses to work in a variety of service line settings – Adult Acute & Adult Eating Disorders.

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse at Priory Hospital Southampton, you will have the chance to experience other wards on rotation, develop your skills and grow with the company via our Career Pathways programme. You will be part of a supportive team that prioritizes patients' recovery and care throughout their stay.

Job Profile

  • Deliver high quality, patient-focused care
  • Participate in the development of new services and care pathways
  • Support the local implementation of the Group Nursing Strategy
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement within your service
  • Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Abilities
  • Registered nurse with active NMC PIN with 12 months post-qualifying experience
  • Relevant clinical experience
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality
  • Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
