Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our CAMHS team as a specialist nurse in child and adolescent mental health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate nurse to work within our multidisciplinary team. Your primary duties will include assessing, planning, and implementing care for young people with mental health issues. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships with families, carers, and other professionals involved in the care of these young people.

About the Role

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and experience in specialist CAMHS, working with a diverse range of young people and their families. You will be supported to work autonomously, with regular supervision and opportunities for professional development.

Person Specification
  • Nationally recognised core qualification in nursing
  • Post-qualifying experience in mental health nursing
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
