Job Title: Deputy Chief Custodian
About the Role
The Deputy Chief Custodian is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to all Safe Deposit customers and visitors by embodying the Selfridges values and ensuring a seamless and secure experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage safe deposit box visits and ensure a smooth customer experience
- Process new Safe Deposit Box contracts and maintain existing ones
- Oversee safe deposit box contract queries and resolve issues promptly
- Identify and meet customer needs, exceeding expectations whenever possible
- Immerse in the Selfridges community and embody the company's values
- Assist with the training and induction of new team members
- Stay aware of additional services offered and provide them when relevant
- Ensure adherence to processes and procedures, including till procedures and security protocols
- Hold regular team briefings to update on service targets, promotions, and company news
- Adhere to strict compliance policies and procedures to minimize risk
About You
- You will have a good understanding of the Safe Deposit process and be knowledgeable about competitors' policies and services
- You will possess strong customer service skills and prioritize customer satisfaction
- You will be a proactive team member, collaborating with the wider team and building relationships quickly
- You will be a great communicator, able to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and managers
- You will be pacey, positive, and flexible, responsive to business needs and willing to take responsibility for your tasks
