Investment Operations Leadership Role:

  • This role is accountable for ensuring the effective functioning of Investment Operations, which includes Fund Accounting, Box Management, Account Event Management, Middle Office, and Change Delivery.
  • Ensure that Unit Pricing and Box Management are carried out effectively, with appropriate systems and controls in place to prevent/mitigate errors.
  • This role is responsible for setting and overseeing policies, procedures, and processes for all Investment Operations related activity across the Group.
  • Drive innovation and collaboration within Investment Operations to meet the demands of SJP's developing product set, internal client expectations, and future growth.

Third Party Management:

  • Responsible for the operational management of the front-to-back oversight governance framework for Investment Managers, Fund Administrators, Custodians, Auditors, and Brokers.
  • Lead Relationships and oversight of third-party providers and their output.

Investment Operational Strategy:

  • Design, prioritise, sponsor, and steer critical investment operational change initiatives and regulatory projects.
  • Develop and implement the operational strategy to meet the needs of current and future investment propositions.
  • Influence prioritisation and optimisation of financial resources to achieve maximum business efficiency.

Governance, Risk Management, and Oversight:

  • Accountable for ensuring a robust risk and control environment, including chairing the Investment Operations Committee.
  • Ensure appropriate systems and controls are in place to monitor and mitigate material risks.
  • Actively represent the Operations function in internal and external governance forums.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chair of Investment Operations Committee.

Requirements:

  • Extensive Investment Operations Leadership experience within the Asset management industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-functional teams.
  • Experience of high-net-worth investment services and managing third-party product offerings.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with experience writing reports and articulating complex information.
