Are you passionate about preserving historical treasures and ensuring a world-class visitor experience?

We are seeking a Collections and House Officer to join our team at 575 Wandsworth Road, a unique property that combines history and beauty. As part of the property duty management team, you will play a key role in maintaining the fascinating collections and interiors of the property.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily opening of the house, managing a small team of conservation and collections volunteers, and taking the lead on recruiting, inducting, and training new volunteers. You will also support the house experience volunteers in developing their skills in telling visitors about the property.

A key aspect of the role is rota management, ensuring sufficient volunteers to clean and care for the house. You will also take the lead on risk and compliance, helping to ensure we remain compliant and work safely by supporting regular workplace inspections and keeping risk assessments up to date.
