Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Expert to join our team as a Senior Surveyor and Property Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, asset strategy development, leasing, and facilities management.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a strategic property and asset management mandate in central London. This role involves overseeing a mixed-use portfolio, ensuring operational excellence, and providing high-quality property management services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, building trust and enhancing our professional image.
  • Provide proactive property management services, ensuring timely issuance of rent and service charge demands.
  • Work closely with the client accountant to review rent reports and manage rent collection, payment plan applications, and arrears recovery.
  • Prepare annual service charge budgets, reconciliations, and ongoing expenditure monitoring in collaboration with the building manager and facilities management.
  • Oversee head lease reconciliations and coordinate with building managers, facilities management, and consultants for repairs, planned maintenance, and refurbishment projects.
  • Manage relationships with insurance brokers, facilitate insurance renewals, and handle insurance claims as needed.
  • Conduct routine property inspections and oversee tenant fit-out approvals in coordination with building managers and other consultants.
  • Deliver high-quality reporting materials, including regular and ad hoc reports, memos, and concise summary reports.
