Facilities Rental Coordinator

As a Facilities Rental Coordinator with the City of Cornwall, you will play a key role in supporting the Coordinator, Facilities, Rentals & Marketing on a daily basis. Your responsibilities will include meeting room bookings, set ups & tear-downs, client invoicing, box office and road sign programming. You will also assist in the administration of Pop Up Shop booking contracts from May to October each year and schedule and coordinate municipal recreation facility bookings.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for weekly deposits and balancing entries in the Diamond accounting system
- Prepare journal entries for armored car pickups
- Support the Coordinator, Facilities, Rentals & Marketing on a daily basis
- Assist in the administration of Pop Up Shop booking contracts from May to October each year
- Schedule and coordinate municipal recreation facility bookings
- Assist with related functions at the Aquatic Centre and Benson Centre Reception
- Coordinate park rental and liaise with community groupsRequirements:
- Graduate of a two-year college diploma in Recreation & Leisure Services, Business Administration, Special Event Planning or equivalent
- Recent experience using web-based scheduling programs
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures
- Bilingual (French & English) required
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work flexible hoursDesired Qualifications:
- Experience working with municipal software
- Experience with municipal recreation software
- Experience programming TV signage within municipal facilitiesWhat We Offer:
