We are recruiting for a Retail Consumer Electronics Business Development Manager to join our team at Brookwood Recruitment Ltd.
Salary: £60,000 - £85,000 plus 40% bonus.
The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding both new and existing retail distribution channels, focusing on the consumer electronics market. Strong experience and established connections in this field are essential, along with a proven ability to drive significant growth through successful retail partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key clients via phone, email, text, video, and in-person meetings.
- Business Planning: Develop product and promotional strategies for each account in alignment with internal goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Negotiations: Handle pricing, product range, and promotional discussions for each account, securing internal approvals to meet sales targets.
- Forecasting and Budget Management: Ensure weekly updates of forecasts, sales data, and budget management, while monitoring account performance.
- Operations Coordination: Collaborate with the operations team to fulfill forecasts, minimizing aged stock.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records, reporting to senior management and other departments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Product Management, Sales Administration, Customer Service, Logistics, Credit Control, and Finance.
This role requires regular travel to meet clients and attend industry trade shows as required. The ideal candidate should be a proactive, driven individual with a "hunter" mentality, passionate about advancing the business.
