Job Overview
The UK Atomic Energy Authority is seeking a highly skilled Head of Pay and Reward to join its People Department. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing the organisation's pay and reward strategy. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business growth, improving recruitment and retention, and ensuring compliance with public sector pay policy.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic pay and reward initiatives aligned with UKAEA's corporate goals
- Lead a team of Pay and Reward specialists to deliver high-impact projects
- Collaborate closely with other specialisms in the People Department on issues such as gender pay and total reward
- Advise on and drive improvements to UKAEA's existing pay and reward strategy and processes
- Prepare and publish statutory reports

Requirements
- Educated to degree level or demonstrable equivalent experience
- MCIPD (Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) or willing to work towards
- Significant knowledge and experience of strategic pay policy in the public sector
- Excellent planning skills and creative problem-solving abilities
- Strong people skills, including developing others
