Job Title: Neighbourhood Housing Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill this challenging role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a multi-disciplinary function comprising of rent management with arrears and neighbourhood-based services to tenants and residents of the borough.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a specific patch and address issues related to anti-social behaviour and income management in this area.
  • Liaise with tenants and residents to promote community cohesion and engagement.
  • Ensure tenants comply with their tenancy agreements and take necessary enforcement action.
  • Collaborate with other agencies to provide appropriate support to tenants.
Requirements
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • A relevant HNC/HND qualification or degree in a relevant subject, or a part or full CIH professional qualification.
  • Experience working in estate and tenancy management functions.
  • A working knowledge of progressing rents, housing-related legislation, anti-social behaviour, and community engagement.
  • The ability to work as part of a team, work independently, prioritise workload, and adapt to emergencies.

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
