Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust.
This role is for a Band 7 Senior Sister to work within a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care environment.
As a compassionate and highly motivated individual, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Main Duties of the Job
The Senior Sister will support the Nursing, Medical and Allied Health Professional teams to set and deliver clinical standards for quality patient outcomes.
They will be responsible for the HR management of the NICU Nursing and Support teams.
The Senior Sister will also support and monitor the education and development of the NICU workforce.
They will work closely with the Maternity, Neonatal & Gynaecology (MN&G) Management team to support and deliver the unit vision, aligning to regional and national requirements and recommendations.
