Brackenberry Ltd is collaborating with a Local Authority to recruit a Human Resources Partner for a 3-month engagement, with the potential for extension based on client needs. We invite qualified candidates to submit their CVs for consideration.

Compensation: £23.20 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of the Council's absence management protocols, ensuring compliance and effective execution while engaging with Trade Union representatives as necessary.
  • Facilitate training and ensure that management and supervisory personnel are well-informed about the absence management policies and have completed required training sessions. Develop communication materials and awareness programs as needed.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of absence data and generate statistical reports for management review.
  • Maintain fairness and equity in all decision-making processes related to the implementation of absence management procedures.
  • Establish and uphold a rigorous methodology concerning absence management protocols, addressing any non-compliance effectively to ensure adherence in the future.

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or equivalent qualifications in English and Mathematics.
  • Experience in a Generalist HR role or demonstrable related experience.
  • Proven experience in negotiation, consultation, and managing employee relations matters, including interaction with Trade Union representatives.

Additional Information:

  • Immediate availability or short notice is preferred.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.K. is required.
  • This position necessitates a basic DBS check.
