Job Title: Administration and Welfare Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Administration and Welfare Assistant to join our team at Chester Voluntary Action.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the team with office administration, being the first point of contact for tenants and visitors, developing and delivering community activities, and tracking tenant engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration Support: Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, processing invoices, and travel bookings.
  • Tenant Engagement: Develop and deliver activities and volunteering opportunities for tenants and the community, maximizing and tracking tenant engagement in community events and services.
  • Customer Service: Provide a first point of contact for tenants and visitors in person and on the phone, adhering to GHH policies and processes, including safeguarding tenants where appropriate.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings and take responsibility for own work, working flexibly to accommodate customer needs, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or equivalent experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications or training in administration, customer service, or a related field.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
