About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapy Assistant to join our inpatient orthopaedic team at Darent Valley Hospital, located on the Dartford site of the Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust.

As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality rehabilitation services to patients with traumatic musculoskeletal injuries causing fractures. You will work closely with our experienced physiotherapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, using your skills and knowledge to support patients in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide physiotherapy interventions to patients in accordance with their individualized treatment plans.
  • To assess patient needs and identify areas for improvement.
  • To develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • To participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and plan care.
Requirements
  • A minimum of [£25,660] per annum (pro rata) salary, based on experience.
  • A supportive management structure and a positive and well-established appraisal and development system.
  • The opportunity to work in a newly built hospital with excellent facilities and resources.
