Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist

Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford, South-East London/North-West Kent border, is recruiting a Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist to join our dedicated team. As a permanent full-time Band 6 Stroke Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (SLT), you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to patients with stroke-related injuries.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of speech and language therapy principles and practices, with experience working in acute hospital settings and specializing in stroke rehabilitation. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role.
About the Role:
- Provide expert speech and language therapy services to patients with stroke-related injuries
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
Qualifications and Experience:
- Recognized Speech & Language Therapy degree qualification or equivalent
- Health and Care Professions Council - Licence to Practise
- Registered member of the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists
- Postgraduate experience working in acute hospital settings
Annual Salary: £50,000 - £70,000
