Pediatric Diabetes Specialist Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Diabetes Specialist Nurse to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to work with children and young people with diabetes, providing high-quality care and support.
Main Responsibilities- To assess the care needs of babies, children, and adolescents with diabetes, developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- To implement and evaluate programs of nursing care, ensuring that the care plan provides a continuous record of progress, response to treatment, rehabilitation, and nursing care.
- To work in partnership with children, young people, and their families to support and encourage involvement in their care, promoting family-centered care and independence.
- Diploma or degree in relevant subject, or working towards one.
- Registration on the NMC register as a Children's Nurse.
- ENB 998 or equivalent.
- A minimum of five years' experience in pediatric nursing, with at least two years' experience working with children with diabetes in an acute or community setting.
The salary for this role is approximately £34,600 - £44,036 per annum, depending on experience. The NHS offers a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and training opportunities.
