About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Hft Banbury. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of staff to ensure that our services meet the highest standards of quality and care. You will work closely with the Service Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve the lives of the people we support.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support services
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve the lives of the people we support
  • Working closely with the Service Manager to ensure that our services meet the highest standards of quality and care
  • Ensuring that all regulatory and legislative requirements are met
  • Leading and promoting good practice, the health, safety, and wellbeing of the people we support

About You:

  • You will have recent experience of leading shifts, motivating colleagues, coaching, and mentoring at team level
  • You will have knowledge of legislation and guidance relating to adults with learning disabilities, Safeguarding, Health and Safety, and Positive Behavioural Support management and techniques
  • You need to hold a Level 2 diploma in Adult Social Care and be willing to undertake the Level 3 Diploma in Adult Social Care within an agreed timescale as part of a development
  • You will have the ability to lead and manage people and be a role model in all aspects of people leadership, especially performance
