This is a vital role that requires a highly organized and efficient individual to manage the yard, ensuring that site teams have the right equipment at the right time.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular yard stock checks and counts of materials ready for use.
- Liaise with other depots to ensure the timely supply and collection of materials.
- Ensure accurate completion and submission of yard timesheets and delivery paperwork.
- Manage and supervise junior yard personnel.
- Verify daily forklift checks and ensure safe operation.
- Coordinate transport requirements for the branch.
- Forklift truck license (training can be provided).
- An HGV license is advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of scaffolding materials (tube and fitting) is beneficial.
- Physical fitness is required due to the nature of the role.
- Good administration and basic computer skills are necessary.
- Negotiable salary based on experience.
