Acute Paediatrician Position

About the Role
University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust is seeking a dynamic and motivated Consultant Paediatrician to join our established and expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, delivering high-quality care to children and young people across the Morecambe Bay Footprint.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing acute paediatric services, including medical, surgical, child protection, resuscitation, and neonatal care. They will also be expected to participate in clinical audit, supervise juniors and relevant staff, and contribute to the delivery of medical education and multi-professional training.
Requirements
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice and entry on the Specialist Register or in receipt of CCT within six months of interview
- Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (or equivalent)
- Completed Specialist Training (or equivalent)
- Completed and up-to-date APLS/NLS (or equivalent) and level 3 Child Protection Training
- Proven experience in clinical audit and leadership skills
