About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Internal Technical Sales Representative to join our team at MTrec Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and revenue through effective sales and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Prepare detailed technical proposals and quotations.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and services.
  • Deliver product presentations to customers.
  • Handle inbound customer and representative sales calls.
  • Ensure orders are entered on time and accurately into our ERP system.
  • Provide technical training to sales team members to enhance their understanding of our products and improve their selling techniques.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, product datasheets, and application notes to support sales and marketing efforts.
  • Develop sales strategies, identifying opportunities, and closing deals.
  • Provide technical assistance during pre-sales and post-sales interactions to address customer inquiries effectively.
  • Basic RMA/Handoff and customer complaint administration.
  • Sales inbox triage.

About You:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Internal Technical Sales Representative who possesses a strong background in sales and marketing. You will have a proven track record of success in driving business growth and revenue through effective sales and marketing strategies.

Requirements:

  • Previous internal technical sales experience is required.
  • A background working in manufacturing or engineering is essential.
  • Experience of working with technical documents and drawings.
  • Experience of working with an ERP system.
  • Able to provide customers with quotations and other pricing information.
  • Ability to calculate percentages, discounts, interest, proportions.
  • Highly IT literate.
  • Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits and industry events.
