Job Title: Technical Sales Administrator

Baltic Recruitment Limited is delighted to be supporting OsecoElfab, a global manufacturer of customised rupture discs and explosion vents, in their search for a Technical Sales Administrator.

Job Summary:

This role involves supporting the Sales team by managing administrative tasks, coordinating customer inquiries, and providing technical information on rupture disc products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage sales-related tasks, including order tracking, customer quotes, and document handling.
  • Coordinate customer inquiries and provide technical information on rupture disc products.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure smooth communication and efficient processing of sales orders.
  • Input orders to the ERP system in a timely manner.
  • Deal with customer emails and calls to facilitate sales order processing.
  • Resolve customer and representative issues with stuck orders.
  • Ensure that purchase orders received are correct and match any quotation sent.
  • Handle inbound customer and representative sales calls.
  • Liaise with customers and the finance department to obtain required missing information to process orders.
  • Basic RMA/Handoff and customer complaint administration.
  • Order inbox triage.
  • New customer set up.
  • Use of the Part Configurator.
  • Liaise across internal departments to ensure customers' needs are met.
  • Support the external sales function.
  • Support the wider team functions and carry out other tasks where required.
  • Improve processes to increase operational excellence within the Technical Sales arena.
Requirements:
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to understand and communicate technical details of rupture disc products to customers.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Capable of interfacing effectively with internal teams and external customers.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent at managing multiple sales-related tasks.
  • Customer-Focused: A proactive approach to addressing customer needs and inquiries.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in handling sales orders and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Team Collaboration: Works well with sales, engineering, and production teams to provide customers with technical support.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Capable of handling technical questions and addressing challenges that may arise during the sales process.
The Package:
  • £26,000 per annum depending on experience + 6% bonus potential.
  • Day shift role, Monday-Friday. Once fully trained, a hybrid working model will be introduced with 1-2 days working from home.
