Circet Ireland & UK is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team. As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for leading, assisting and developing the commercial team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement commercial reporting systems and procedures to maximise commercial benefits of all responsible contracts.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to mitigate risks and increase revenue.
- Work closely with project delivery teams to manage commercial functions across various works within telecoms.
- Collaborate with project and contracts managers to collate information on projects and manage costs.
- Prepare internal and external commercial reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Establish and maintain interfaces with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage costs of direct labour, material, plant, and subcontractors to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Estimate changes and variations using various methods to ensure accurate cost forecasting.
- Assist with the implementation of commercial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Hold meetings with clients and senior management teams to discuss cost projections and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Work proactively with tender and bid teams to secure new clients and projects.
- Develop a strategy for supplier engagement to drive business growth and improve relationships.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified or similar in a relevant field.
- Proven ability to run complex bids and multiple bids.
- Understanding of pricing, cost, and profit.
- Knowledge and understanding of commercial construction law.
- Experience working with NEC, JCT, ICE, or bespoke contracts.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to problem-solve and make decisions.
- Excellent IT skills and communication skills.
