Regulatory Surveillance Position

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Monitoring Specialist to join our team. As a Compliance Monitoring Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that our company remains compliant with all relevant regulations and laws.

About the Role

This position requires experience in a trade monitoring/trade surveillance function in a trading, brokerage, gambling or banking environment. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the rules and regulations of the UK FCA and other applicable regulatory agencies. Additionally, they should have knowledge of financial markets and products.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Review and maintenance of systems
  • Providing advice to the business on regulatory matters
  • Identifying and escalating current regulatory issues
  • Reviewing and building out Compliance Monitoring Plan/Surveillance programme
  • Undertaking monitoring reviews in line with the Compliance Monitoring Plan
  • Reporting compliance monitoring and surveillance program status and activities
  • Producing monthly Management Information in respect of monitoring and surveillance program and Consumer Duty


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in a trade monitoring/trade surveillance function in a trading, brokerage, gambling or banking environment. You should also have knowledge of the rules and regulations of the UK FCA and other applicable regulatory agencies. Additionally, you should have knowledge of financial markets and products.

Salary Range

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
