About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Residential Care Worker to join our team of professionals supporting children and young people in residential homes across the North West.

Job Description
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to implement individual care plans, ensuring high-quality support and care is delivered in accordance with service policies and procedures.
  • Engage with young people in activities and events within the community, fostering their independence and social skills.
  • Maintain accurate records and report to supervisors, contributing to the continuous improvement of services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in supporting children and young people with emotional behavioural difficulties and challenging behaviours.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build strong relationships with young people, colleagues, and external agencies.

Compensation and Location

This role offers a competitive salary of £13.23 per hour, plus £55 per sleep, based on a full-time schedule with 1 on 2 off shifts and sleeps. The position is located in Longton, Preston, within the North West region of England.
