**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Residential Care Manager to join our team at Guidance Care Limited. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation and operation of a 2-bed home for children aged 8-17 with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD).

**About the Role**

As a seasoned professional in residential care, you will have a proven track record of establishing and maintaining supportive environments that foster growth, respect, and joy for young people. Your expertise will be crucial in setting up the home, leading our registration with Ofsted, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement personalized care plans for each child, promoting their unique needs and goals
  • Cultivate strong relationships with families, social workers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and ongoing support
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to Ofsted standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment, promoting open communication and mutual respect

**Requirements**

  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in residential care, preferably with children with EBD
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and standards for residential childcare
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
