Childrens Support Worker

We are a leading provider of residential care services for children and young people in need. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care that meets the unique needs of each individual.
The Role:
As a Residential Childcare Professional, you will be an integral part of our supportive staff team, working on a 24-hour rota, 7 days a week. Your role will involve:
- Providing care in a children's residential home, adhering to Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Delivering trauma-informed care based on psychological formulations.
- Building strong relationships with young people to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Preparing young people for a positive transition into adulthood through relational care.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards it.
- Be committed to supporting vulnerable and traumatised young people.
- Demonstrate good childcare practices and understand the needs of children and young people.
- Handle emotional and physical conflict and respond appropriately to crises.
