Children's Home Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Children's Home Manager to join our team at Calibre Global Consulting. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the daily management of a children's home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of staff to deliver person-centered childcare and achieve the best outcomes for each young person.
  • Managing the operation of the home, including maintaining operational manning levels and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and training programs to support staff development and improve service quality.
  • Working collaboratively with local authorities, social workers, and other professionals to contribute to the multidisciplinary assessment of children's needs and support their care plans.
  • Ensuring the home is a safe and welcoming environment for young people, with a focus on their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Services or equivalent.
  • Experience in a senior or strategic role within a children's residential care setting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership working.
  • Physically fit and capable of managing the demands of the role.
